Since I've had Shylo 12 months, she'll get 12 photos on her 9th birthday. Laundry day means clean Shylo towel blankets, which she found for a bit before I put them back on her two favorite shoebox beds.
Hard not to be cynical when stupidity is so cyclical.
Tinkering #sunday. Adapted the launching trolley that came with my double stacking trailer to get my son's Laser level. The support itself is fine but the welds between the support and the launching trolley are messy. But it's the best I could with limited welding experience and a mix of construction steel for the support, an unknown stainless steel (why? as the other parts are normal steel too, with equally messy welds) for the mid section of the launching trolley and an unknown filler rod.

Shylo had been in the animal shelter for a week when I met her, and I brought her home the next day, one year ago today. In a matter of minutes, she made herself at home, exploring everywhere! She didn't need my energy shots, either. 
Been busy redoing my hibiscus bed and I can hear the baby birds anyone mom or dad come back with good. Pulled all that damn dollar weed out as well.

One year ago today, I adopted Shylo from the shelter. They told me this sweet girl was 8, so I'm making today her 9th birthday! She's getting even more spoiled than usual today. Her weekly moist food treat disappeared rapidly.
